Firstly before starting, we need to have an Updated USB Drivers to get it properly detected in respective computer. This is very important & can be downloaded from Samsung's Official Website.

Secondly, we need to download the other tools for rooting the phone. i.e. ODIN & CWM Recovery

Now, lets begin with the Actual Procedure....

Flash CWM Recovery through ODIN

1. We need to ensure first that USB Debugging is enabled in the mobile phone. In order to enable the USB Debugging.. Go to Settings -> Developer Options -> Move the small rectangle shape box to right as it turns green --> Tick mark the USB Debugging Option.

2. Now, Lets extract ODIN which we downloaded, to a folder in desktop which is convenient to access. Then, do a Right Click on ODIN & Click @ Run as Administrator.

3. The next step is to put your mobile in a Download mode. You can do this by Pressing Volume Down Button + Home + Power Button. Slowly release the power button when the phone vibrates & then it takes you to the Download mode which is represented by a triangle in the bottom which says downloading.

4. Once, you are in the Download mode, Connect the USB Cable to your computer & open ODIN (as indicated in 2nd Step). You should see the COM port through which it is connected as well as a message beneath which says Added. Now, that means your device is now ready to root :)

5. Tick mark the Bootloader option & click on it, browse through the CWM Recovery(.tar) file wherever you placed (for an instance in Desktop)
Note : Remember, Do not extract the contents of CWM Recovery.. You just need to browse the path & Select the file. Thats it :)

6. Uncheck the Auto Reboot & F.Reset Time which are ticked by default & click on Start.

7. When the rooting process ends, You are then greeted with a message Res Ok which means rooting has been successfully completed.

8. The next step is to check whether you are in a CWM Recovery mode or not.. You can do that by disconnecting the USB as well as removing the battery.. Put it back & press Volume up + Home + Power Button together & release the power button when it vibrates.. Voila ! This will take you to the CWM Recovery Mode :)

Note : Remember, Do not click on Reboot Recovery once you are in the CWM Recovery's Advanced Mode... By chance, if you do that you will be getting a boot loop up. To get rid of it, You can flash the CWM Recovery again using ODIN as listed above.
